Minion of the Tulips

$950.00

My paintings always show the interrelationships between nature and in many ways how that transfers into the human experience. The flowers at the top seem to be having a verbal interaction with the larger ones while the ones at bottom are calling out from below. The larger dominant flowers, windswept, could be the aggressors here. Are they? Notice the interplay between light and dark, the luminosity of colors and the textures created.

Acrylic on stretched canvas with applied canvas overlays.
58” x 36”
